Ochocinco: Carson Palmer Is Gone
Carson Palmer says he'll never play for the Bengals again and his house in the Cincinnati suburbs recently sold. One of his favorite targets said Thursday he doesn't doubt the quarterback won't play for the team again.
Chad Ochocinco, interviewed by "SportsCenter" on Thursday, said Palmer is a man of his word.
Ochocinco said that if Palmer comes out of character, and says he wants out or is going to retire, then the Bengals should listen to what he says.
"He will sit out, he will retire," Ochocinco said from the Atlanta Motor Speedway. Ochocinco added that Palmer is "frustrated" and wants a "fresh start."

Sapp Warns Teams About Free Agent Huff
Warren Sapp is urging teams to think hard before signing soon-to-be free agent safety Michael Huff.
Sapp didn't hold back Tuesday when asked on a Dallas radio show if the Cowboys should court Huff, who has ties to the area.
"Michael Huff leaves something to be desired," Sapp said on KESN-FM's "Ben and Skin Show."
"I watched Huff for two years not pick a pass off in practice. I seen him make a couple plays lately. I'd really be interested to see his tape and watch his last couple of years because his first two make you want to throw up watching him practice.”
Huff was the seventh overall pick in the 2006 NFL Draft and Sapp painted the picture of an entitled young player.
"I went so far with Michael Huff, and you can ask him this, that my last day in Oakland, I waited in the parking lot for Michael Huff," said Sapp, who played for the Raiders from 2004 to 2007.
"I waited in the parking lot because I wanted to talk to the young man because he made me want to throw up watching him practice. I mean, the scout team would complete ball, after ball, after ball. I'm like, 'You're not going to make one play? I mean, you're not even going to put your hand on it and knock it down?' "
Lockout Hurting Fantasy Companies
The lingering NFL lockout has begun to seriously hurt many fantasy football companies.
Usually by now, thousands of the estimated 24 million people who play fantasy football each year already have begun preparing for their leagues.
But as NFL franchises and players skip offseason workouts and free agents go unsigned amid the labor unrest, companies that depend on fans poring over statistics and incremental personnel moves to form their fantasy teams have coped with the reality of lost revenue.
The fantasy football industry brings in about $800 million per year.
"We'll be lucky if we make one-third of what we make in a normal year," said Bruce Taylor, the 46-year-old co-owner of Seattle-based Fantasy Index Magazine, Inc., which isn't publishing its Fantasy Football Index magazine for the first time in 25 years.
"It's tough because we've had to lay somebody off -- I've got another employee that I should lay off, but I don't have the heart. We're a small company," Taylor said. "I try and be philosophical about it because when you hitch your wagon to somebody else's horse, you're going to take your lumps."
Palmer's Cincinnati Home Is Sold
In the latest in a long line of developments that appear to signal the end of Carson Palmer's time with the Bengals, the quarterback's Cincinnati-area home has been sold.
The home was listed at $2.1 million, but the sale price isn't immediately known.
Palmer, 31, went to the Bengals after the team wrapped up its 4-12 season and asked to be traded or he would retire from the NFL.
Bengals owner Mike Brown has said numerous times he will not trade Palmer.
Enderle Begins Workouts With Bears
Bears rookie quarterback and fifth-round draft pick Nate Enderle arrived in Chicago on Sunday and has begun working out with the team, according to sources.
Enderle, who impressed Bears offensive coordinator Mike Martz in a private pre-draft workout, passed for 8,181 yards and 62 touchdowns as a four-year starter for the University of Idaho.
He is expected to open training camp as the Bears' No. 3 quarterback behind incumbent starter Jay Cutler and Caleb Hanie.
Goodell, Smith Address Rookies
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and players' union chief DeMaurice Smith took questions Wednesday at a symposium for NFL rookies.
"That's really the significance of this," NFL Players Association spokesman George Atallah said. "There's a lockout happening now, but we've got to look forward and consider the necessity to have a positive working relationship with the league."
Goodell and Smith met in Minneapolis before flying together to Sarasota on Tuesday night. After a joint breakfast Wednesday, they talked for an hour with 155 rookies.
"We were taking a break (from negotiations) because we felt it was important to be down here with the players," Goodell said. "This is an important few days. We're going to get back to work."
Ravens Interested In Pryor As Receiver?
There is a possibility that the Ravens could have interest in former Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor as a wide receiver.
Anquan Boldin, who was a star prep quarterback, could be a perfect mentor for Pryor.
"If you can talk him into being a wide receiver, there is no better guy to be around than Anquan Boldin," ESPN's John Clayton told BaltimoreRavens.com.
"Having Boldin coach him up – and I know this from talking with [Arizona Cardinals receivers] Early Doucet and Steve Breaston – his influence on wide receivers is as good as anybody in football. Maybe the best in the last several years."
Ty Law Wants To Retire With Patriots
Ty Law hasn't played in an NFL game since 2009 and won't appear in another, but he wants to retire as a member of the Patriots.
Law hasn't turned in his retirement papers.
"Hopefully, I'll get the opportunity to officially retire as a Patriot," Law said. "That's my ultimate goal right now. I would like to say the last contract I signed was with New England. If Mr. (Robert) Kraft was to bless me with something like that, that would be the icing on the cake for a 15-year career."
Kaepernick Shows Off At 49ers Workouts
49ers rookie quarterback Colin Kaepernick was a full participant on the first day of an informal minicamp Tuesday, showing off his strong arm and moving swiftly for the first time since surgery on his lower left leg in early May.
Kaepernick said he doesn't feel limited at all but is waiting for an upcoming doctor's appointment before he resumes his complete training program.
"Definitely have to get back a little of the timing, get back to the pace of the routes, the timing of certain things," he said. "That's just going to take a little bit of time. For the most part, I felt like I was on time with most of my throws today and felt good out there."
Kaepernick, the 36th overall pick, decided to skip a symposium for NFL rookies this week to spend time with his San Francisco 49ers teammates and learn some of the playbook.
